The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) goes into effect January 01 2020. What is it and is your business prepared?

Major WordPress Website Update Announcement
Is your website built and powered by the WordPress CMS (Content Management System) platform?
If so, be prepared.
The WordPress team just announced that version 5.0 is being released tomorrow. (This came as a shock to us. I thought they’d give us more time).
What does this mean?
Well, WordPress 5.0 is a major update that includes a brand-new editor called Gutenberg, which may not work with certain themes and plugins (i.e. your website).
Our Recommendation (Do NOT update until January)
We’re advising our clients, NOT to update the WordPress software until January 2019.
Enjoy the holidays. There is no rush to update now. Better to wait until there is more time to test the release and, who knows, by January, it may be more stable if WordPress releases additional patches.
We’ll be updating our production site to WordPress 5.0 in January.
Let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
